Students enjoy a wide assortment of appetizers from crab cakes to deviled eggs and sushi, during the reception. It lasted from 2 to 4 p.m., never running short on edibles.
With graduation quickly approaching, the celebration may be bittersweet for some, but still sweet non-the-less.
Decisive Moments
There is no in-between for Marist students when they see something out of the ordinary, that may be considered silly or funny. It's either funny or it's not. Students found themselves face to face with some silly get-ups yet seemed mostly unfazed. A bookstore employee, however, couldn't resist a laugh.
Man on the move. This student was in and out of the room, at the speed of light, unamused by a tutu and bunny ears. Cramming for an exam? Perhaps.
What fun is playing dress-up if we don't poke fun at ourselves while at it? It was hard to decide what was scarier, parading around in costumes, or the stark stares often received from the student body. With not many in a smile giving mood, one must wonder if perhaps it's simply stress season, with final exams just around the corner. We didn't forget how to smile, Marist, did we?

Event #1: Sustainability Day
It was a green day at Marist, Thursday, April 15, as Sustainability Day was celebrated throughout campus. While several events were held, there was one unified message: be eco-friendly. Students gathered outside the Student Center around 11 a.m., and sifted through garbage to find compostable goods, such as plastic utensils, plates and cups, among other renewable sources.
